When Long Course Meets are
being planned for PLEASE remember that the Stroke Judges will be walking 50
METERS each length of the pool. It is a
good idea to have either a relief or 4 Stroke Judges, 2 on each side, for long
course meets. For the same reason, it
would be wise to have 2 Chief Judges, one at each end of the pool, during long
course meets.
These are minimum
numbers. It DOES NOT allow for breaks
or other unforeseen situations where an Official might need to leave their
position on the deck.
PLEASE when placing
officials on deck, spread them evenly between the Start and Turn Ends of the
pool.
